CLUB NIGHT TALK - Model Building - 15 May

Club Night Thursday 15th of May.
Ever been tempted to build a model, rather than buying an RTF but don’t know where to start.
Coming this Thursday night, George Worley would like to offer his knowledge and skills to anyone who is interested in any aspects of model building, in either from a plan or a kit.
George will talk about some of the very basic skills, from choosing a model, to giving a general overview of what’s required to create your masterpiece and some pointers to get you started.
Of course this is a massive subject to cover, including woodwork, metalwork, soldering, covering, painting, weathering, radio installation and setup, much more than could ever be covered in several nights! But George hopes to touch on at least a few of them.
The evening will be a two-way session guided by the main interests of the audience, with participation and questions etc. guiding the discussion.
As usual, this will be at the Basingstoke Sports and Social Club, Fairfields Rd, Basingstoke, RG21 3DR.
Time 7:30 pm for 8:00 pm
Please come along and support the club, it will be an interesting evening.
