Paper covered foam board - Hobbycraft Glue £2.50

Having built and flown a few Angry Birds I was looking for a cheaper alternative to U-POR and the like premium glues.

The Angry Birds are built from Hobbycraft Foamboard, a paper covered produce that is stronger than Depron but a little heavier. The Birds have a lot of foamboard sandwich layup with uses a fair bit of glue. While you are in Hobbycraft pick up a few tubes of their General urpose Glue ( 50ml £2.50 ).

This is a cheap glue that sets off fast and has instant grab.

Use it only on the paper surface or varnished base foam though as the solvent melts the core easily !
